Tell us more about yourself

My name is Pepijn, I am 28 years old and live in Doesburg. This is where I was born and raised. After a trip to Tilburg, where I studied Communication, I returned. Together with my fiancé, with whom I have been together for ten years now, I live here again, close to friends and family.

During my studies, I did a minor in online marketing, where my interest in SEA and data-driven marketing arose. After my studies, I moved on to a role as a SEA specialist. It gives me energy to push the right buttons and see immediate results. At my previous employer, I had the opportunity to work on many cool customer cases and learned a lot from experienced specialists in the field.

In my spare time, I like to be active. You can often find me on the tennis court, in the gym or working on DIY projects at home. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family. Sitting still is nothing for me; like many, I really enjoy travelling, good food and the occasional party.

Why Orange Juice?

My search for a new position began with one key principle: to work at a company I can be proud of and enjoy going to every day. I got this feeling when I was introduced to Orange Juice. The cheerful colours, cosy atmosphere and colleagues appealed to me. Moreover, the vacancy matched perfectly.

What exactly will you be doing at Orange Juice?

I have joined Orange Juice to strengthen the marketing team in the area of paid advertising. Originally, I come from the world of customer contact and strategy, and I think it would be great fun to grow in this area and expand my knowledge. I also really enjoy discovering other (OM) spearheads besides paid advertising that I am good at and in which I can develop even further.

What are you extremely good at?

For me, it is important to deliver good-quality work. I am not someone who does tasks halfway; I make sure they are done carefully and completed neatly. The most important thing for me is that I am satisfied with what I have achieved and can continue to look at myself in the mirror. In addition, I am curious by nature. I always want to know how things work and how to improve processes. Achieving the best result is important to me, so I love to learn.

If someone asks me what my talent is, I don't have an immediate answer. What I do know is that I can do many different things. I am not really super bad at anything.

What makes you happy?

In my work, I derive great pleasure from achieving results and building strong customer relationships. It gives me energy to work with others towards a goal and achieve objectives together. Personally, my girlfriend makes me happy and I can really enjoy a (bad) joke.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I expect AI to play an increasing role in our work. I think it will become increasingly important to be able to handle AI well and develop strategies that work with it. As for ambitions, I am not someone who necessarily wants to earn a huge salary. Of course it's nice to earn well, but for me it's mainly about a nice workplace and job satisfaction. I am satisfied with that.
