As a non-profit organization, you are eligible for the Google Ad Grant, which provides a monthly advertising credit of $10,000. Trees for All has signed up for this and is now a Google grantee. However, being a grantee comes with specific rules. For instance, you must maintain a click-through rate (CTR) of at least 5% at the account level, you can spend a maximum of $2 per click, and the quality score of the keywords cannot be lower than 3. Additionally, you cannot advertise on single-word search terms or very broad/general terms, and the Google Ads account must be actively managed (you must make at least one change per month). Maintaining a Google Ad Grant account is not without its challenges, but fortunately, at Orange Juice, we love a challenge!
