Backend (web)developer

As a backend (web) developer at Orange Juice, you will be involved in developing webshops and advanced web applications using an agile approach. You have delved into all aspects of the web, including structure and patterns, both backend and frontend. Through analysis, you convert information into functional and technical solutions and communicate about them with product owners and team members. Combined with the given principles and constraints, you know how to achieve maximum business value. You proactively stay informed about new developments in the field and continuously collaborate with colleagues to innovate Orange Juice's solutions.

What do you bring?

  • You have completed a HBO degree in Computer Science; 
  • You are eager to learn and keep up with all developments in web development; 
  • You have solid knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL; 
  • You have experience with the Microsoft .NET framework, Core, MVC, Entity Framework; 
  • You are accurate and have a high sense of responsibility; 
  • You enjoy working in a team. Additionally, you like to independently devise solutions and share them with your colleagues; 
  • And importantly... you have a good sense of humor because work should be enjoyable! 

Also good to know: we work with tools such as Visual Studio, Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. In our solutions, we often use the Umbraco framework for content management. 

What do we offer you?

  • A full-time (40 hours) job (minimum 32 hours) with hybrid working options and flexible working hours. We value a good work-life balance!; 
  • A great work location in the center of Arnhem with good accessibility (by car, public transport, and bicycle); 
  • A gross monthly salary between €2.400- (entry-level junior) and €4.800,- (max senior scale). Your salary is based on your work experience;
